GNSS
GNSS analysis stems from the need of having accurate and liable positions. The analysis of GNSS observations cannot be trated as a trivial task since depending on the considered parameters and models, the results might be useless.
The high accuracies achieves currently, make of precise GNSS analysis the solid background for different areas such as:
- Horizontal and vertical velocity determination: this way the crustal movements can be isolated from the sea level raw measurements.
- ZTD determination, as well as the horizontal gradients
- High accuracy positioning: to compute geodetic positions and to broadcast RTK products.
- Geodetic frames: to realize geodetic reference frames and to align local/regional densifications to existing global solutions.
- Time scale setting: to align times to GPS time.
